Merchandising Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Merchandising Specialist position offers an exciting opportunity to drive brand acquisition, optimization, and merchandising efforts within an e-commerce environment. This role involves researching and onboarding new brands, managing product catalogues, supporting marketing initiatives, and ensuring a seamless brand experience on the platform. Additionally, the position requires close collaboration with various teams to improve brand visibility, enhance partnerships, and contribute to strategic merchandising decisions.

In Short

• New Brand Acquisition & Launch: Research new brands, manage onboarding (communications, compliance, assets), and lead marketing pushes (giveaways, campaigns).
• Brand Optimization: Improve indirect brand partnerships by finding direct contacts and enhancing marketing efforts.
• Catalogue & Data Management: Oversee catalogue updates, handle IT/BI tickets, conduct audits, analyze discontinue rates, and manage competitor benchmarking.
• Marketing & Design Support: Coordinate marketing assets (EDMs, banners), manage brand assets, and collaborate with the design team.

Requirements

• Advanced level in English for reading and writing (CET 6).
• Advanced/intermediate in Microsoft Excel (i.e., PivotTable).
• Basic Adobe Photoshop skills.
• Detail-oriented, patient and the ability to work under pressure.
• Positive attitude and a team player.
• Major in E-commerce is a plus.
