Lead the integration effort of a major new product to an existing software platform
Build up and lead an interdisciplinary team consisting of analysts, QAs and developers
Lead change management and team dynamics around a potential merger of teams
Create and manage a technical roadmap to guide the migration while ensuring new functionalities are implemented
Conduct a thorough assessment of the existing application, identifying dependencies, integrations, and potential challenges
Plan and execute the migration of data if required, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime
Address technical challenges and make decisions on software architecture, design patterns, and technology stack
Maintain and support the current and future system through the transition and migration period
Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with the migration and operation of both systems
Analyse and challenge business requirements and translate them into modelling decisions and code

Requirements

Establish and enforce coding standards, review code, and oversee testing processes on both platforms
Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure code
Ensure documentation of code, requirements, development processes, testing standards and coverage
Lead process improvements to enhance team productivity and efficiency
Conduct and lead regular 1-on-1s and team meetings, performance reviews and annual appraisals
