As a Senior Software Engineer at SiteMinder, you will work with our Java/Kotlin teams on the Channel Manager, a large-scale distribution platform for hotels. You will be involved in cloud technologies and microservice architectures.

In Short

Refine and deliver product requirements with minimum support
Work with a cross-functional distributed team in an agile methodology
Participate in release and sprint planning
Write clean, well-organised code with trade-offs between performance and robustness
Support production systems on a shared roster basis
Collaborate with other developers through pair-programming and code reviews
Mentor and support junior developers
Understand and write infrastructure as code

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in Java/JVM technologies, preferably Spring Boot
Understand microservice architectures and RESTful APIs
AWS experience with services like EC2, Kinesis, SQS, Lambda, and S3
Competent with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Aurora) and key/value stores (e.g., Cassandra, Redis)
Understand code testability, build pipelines, Docker, and CI/CD systems
Stay updated with best practices and technologies
Work with product and other teams to deliver high-quality software
