Overview

The Desktop Support Analyst is responsible for setting up new starters, managing internal IT support issues, and liaising with IT vendors, ensuring smooth operations and high levels of problem analysis.

In Short

  • Assist with installation and configuration of hardware and software.
  • Be the first point of contact for IT support in Ireland and Europe.
  • Maintain and prioritize issues in the helpdesk system.
  • Manage logistics for IT assets for remote staff.
  • Assist the security team with security incidents.
  • Procure new hardware and software as needed.
  • Work with vendor support to resolve technical problems.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and testing as required.
  • Support the Global ICT Director in technical capabilities expansion.
  • Be an ambassador for SiteMinder, ensuring employee engagement.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Apple and MacOS.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and cloud applications.
  • Understanding of IT networks.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Great customer interaction and conflict resolution skills.
  • Willingness to work extra hours when needed.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
