Overview

The Key Account Manager – Belgium (KAM) is responsible for managing key accounts and driving sales within Belgium and Luxembourg. This role involves developing strategic relationships, conducting educational meetings, and ensuring customer satisfaction with Sirtex's oncology products.

In Short

  • Main interface between Sirtex and its customers.
  • Prospect and manage key accounts in Belgium and Luxembourg.
  • Deliver presentations and product demonstrations to healthcare professionals.
  • Organize educational meetings for multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
  • Influence clinicians and stakeholders to increase product awareness.
  • Continuously educate on disease states and business environment.
  • Participate in national and international congresses.
  • Support third-party business partners in clinical trials.
  • Understand reimbursement processes for medical devices.
  • Must reside in and travel within the territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacology, Nursing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of medical sales experience, with 2 years in a specialized hospital environment.
  • Knowledge in oncology, gastroenterology, or hepatology.
  • Existing relationships with healthcare professionals in the field.
  • Proven track record in funding negotiations.
  • Experience in strategic selling of high-value products.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with initiative and creativity.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch and French, with advanced English proficiency.
