Full Stack Engineer - Remote

Overview

Simulmedia is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our engineering team to develop cutting-edge insights and analytics capabilities in a new CTV platform that is built from the ground up to utilize product-led growth (PLG) approach.

In Short

• Maintenance of the existing B2B CTV platform (Ruby)
• Design and implement insights and analytics dashboards for the CTV platform
• Develop both frontend and backend services using Ruby, React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Build robust, scalable APIs using tRPC
• Create efficient SSR or SSG pages via Next.js
• Collaborate with designers to implement responsive user interfaces using Tailwind CSS
• Optimize the full stack for quick load times and smooth user experiences
• Deploy and manage the platform using Vercel
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Implement unit and end-to-end testing for reliability

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in backend services development, primarily in Ruby
• Experience with cloud services, preferably AWS, and Docker
• 5+ years of full stack development experience
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript
• Deep understanding of React and its ecosystem
• Proficiency in Tailwind CSS
• Experience in building data visualization tools
• Experience with SSR and SSG using Next.js
• Proficiency in backend development with tRPC
