Overview

The Business Development Executive is responsible for generating revenue and profit growth for Simtra through the development and implementation of a sales strategy for both new and existing pharma clients.

In Short

  • Prospect for new leads and implement cold campaigns.
  • Manage new and existing business opportunities.
  • Present Simtra’s service offerings confidently.
  • Understand market and customer needs.
  • Lead contract negotiations.
  • Build credibility and promote the Simtra culture.
  • Plan and control sales activities for assigned clients.
  • Partner with sales support and marketing teams.
  • Attend tradeshows and conferences.
  • Manage sales activity in Salesforce.com.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant healthcare sales experience.
  • Sales experience in pharma, biotech, or contract manufacturing preferred.
  • Process Development/Commercial manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies.
  • Strong business acumen and knowledge of sales processes.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and new concepts.
