Supply Chain Analyst, Capacity - Remote

Overview

As a member of the ShipBob Team, you will be responsible for supporting our Inventory Storage Capacity management system, data validations, modelling fullness, and communicating with Operations leadership for placement decisions.

• Daily and weekly management in Excel, PowerBI, Salesforce for merchant placement validations.
• Work directly with the Manager for Network & Capacity Planning to support alerts and recommendations.
• Liaise with Sales & Implementation teams on new merchant expectations.
• Track new merchants and inbound shipments tied to potential large influxes of orders.
• Use data informed reports to identify process failures within forecasting.
• Provide support in maintaining the storage capacity forecasting model.
• Share knowledge with teams on effective practices and business opportunities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in supply chain/e-commerce fulfillment operations.
• Intermediate to Advanced SQL and Excel proficiency.
• Willingness to learn about technologies and demand forecasting.
• Qualitative and quantitative research skills.
• Ability to proactively engage with a variety of stakeholders.
• Hard working with a focus on learning and helping small businesses.
• Ability to work in complex situations and remain focused.
