Clinical Pharmacist - Remote

Overview

As a Clinical Pharmacist at Shields Health Solutions, you will provide integrated support to patients and physicians to improve the quality of patient care through personalized relationships and evidence-based care.

In Short

• Provide hands-on clinical support for patients and prescribers.
• Review clinician's patient care notes for prior authorization approvals.
• Develop clinical protocols to maximize patient adherence.
• Monitor ongoing patient adherence data.
• Evaluate EMR for medication-related issues.
• Recommending alternative therapeutic regimens.
• Conduct medication therapy management (MTM).
• Supervise communication of support personnel compliant with HIPAA.
• Participate in educational programs and training.
• Assist with research projects as needed.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent advanced degree.
• Licensed Pharmacist in Indiana required.
• 1+ years of experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of specialty medication pharmacology.
• Ability to manage processes and exhibit strong clinical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of EPIC/QS1/WILLOW software a plus.
• Ability to motivate and coach patients.
• Attention to detail and quality focus.
