Overview

The Medical Dosimetrist is a vital member of the radiation oncology team responsible for developing treatment plans for cancer patients using advanced knowledge of radiation therapy techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Board eligible for the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) exam.
• 20 years of experience as a Medical Dosimetrist preferred.
• Current certification by MDCB is preferred.
• Completion of an accredited medical dosimetry program.
• Three years of medical dosimetry experience.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiation physics.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in treatment planning software.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
