Overview

This position is a strategic business development and sales role responsible for identifying new business opportunities and driving growth in the mining and minerals sector for North America.

In Short

  • Increases sales by cultivating new and existing client relationships.
  • Promotes minerals services through various client engagement methods.
  • Defines business strategies and growth plans in collaboration with senior staff.
  • Strategizes with operational teams to maximize profitability.
  • Identifies new markets and segments for business development.
  • Assesses market share needs with major mining groups.
  • Documents all sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Gathers market intelligence and maintains knowledge of market dynamics.
  • Attends industry events for lead generation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in the mineral services industry.
  • Advanced English language skills; French or Spanish is an asset.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel requirement: up to 50%.
