Food Safety Auditor (BRC, SQF, FSSC) - Remote

Overview

As the Food Safety Auditor, you will perform third-party audits per SGS Certification procedures and requirements of one or more applicable standards (i.e. FSSC22000, SQF, BRC).

In Short

• Perform certification audits in conformance with SGS procedures.
• Determine whether registration should be recommended based on audit evidence.
• Operate the SGS Certification System in all auditing activities.
• Collaborate with teams of Auditors during audits.
• Provide customers with sufficient audit experience.
• Assist in training other Auditors.
• Participate in witness audits by SGS or accreditation bodies.
• Maintain all audit-related credentials.
• Adhere to internal standards and policies.
• Undertake other activities as directed by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in food science or bio science.
• 5+ years’ work experience as Lead Auditor to FSSC, BRC, and/or SQF.
• Minimum 5 years in a management function in the food industry.
• Minimum 2 years in quality assurance or food safety management.
