Settle is on a mission to make buying inventory super easy. Since the company’s inception in 2019, we’ve been building a cashflow management platform that allows founders and small business owners to more easily manage their company’s financial health with a mix of accounts payable and flexible financing tools. In Short

• Design and build customer-facing features for inventory management.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams for intuitive systems.
• Optimize systems for scale, reliability, and usability.
• Understand the product from a customer’s perspective.
• Mentor and guide team members.
• Drive projects to completion with effective communication.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in backend design and development.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails (or willingness to learn).
• Experience in relational databases such as Postgres and MySQL.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration.
• Understanding of product engineering and user impact.
