Overview

This role involves supporting US Federal & Public Sector customers by ensuring the reliability and automation of network services.

In Short

  • Lead the design and operations of production IP networks.
  • Automate network deployment and operations to enhance reliability.
  • Build tooling in Python, Go, and Bash.
  • Drive operational excellence through automation and configuration hygiene.
  • Mentor engineers in networking and software best practices.
  • Participate in incident management and lead high-stakes incidents.
  • Review and rollout network changes with automated verification.
  • Collaborate across teams to improve network operations.
  • Utilize cloud services and multi-cloud familiarity.
  • Engage with observability tools to monitor network health.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in large internet or data center networks.
  • Expertise in routing & traffic engineering.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or Go.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Calm under pressure with incident leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Curiosity for AI in network operations.
  • Hands-on experience with network automation.
  • Familiarity with service load balancing and MPLS is a plus.
  • Experience integrating vendor ecosystems into automation frameworks is a plus.
