Senior Network Automation Engineer - Remote

In Short

• You will be the resident Network Automation expert to NetBrain’s customers.
• Provide thought leadership on how Network Operations can be automated and transformed for global Enterprises and MSPs.
• Lead customers in identification of high impact automation targets for their Network Operations through analysis of ITSM data.
• Analyze customer’s deployed network technologies, existing playbooks and design documents to create automation solutions.
• Architect and implement automation solutions for customer’s problem resolution.
• Train and develop customer engineers with automation knowledge to continue to automate on the NetBrain platform.
• Your success will be tied to the amount of automation and customer success achieved with the customer.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical subject (STEM).
• CCNP or equivalent network certifications.
• 5+ years of experience in Network Operations, Network Security, Network Planning, Design and Implementation, Continued Network Optimization, Network Automation.
• Experience with common network management tools including Network Monitoring, Incident Management, Log Analysis.
• Experience with Public Cloud networking (AWS, Azure and/or GCP).
• Strong customer facing skills.
• Experience with network automation is a plus.
• Experience with enterprise scripting languages such as Python is a plus.
• Fluent in English with strong communication and presentation skills.
