Senior Software Engineer - UI - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer at ServiceNow, you will play a key role in developing next-generation customer-facing cloud observability tools, focusing primarily on UI development while collaborating cross-functionally to enhance our observability platform.

In Short

• Develop high-quality, scalable, and reusable code using AI-assisted tools.
• Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Design and implement observability products and features that are AI-native.
• Collaborate with product owners to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Mentor peers and junior engineers by sharing knowledge in AI/ML and software engineering.
• Drive the full SDLC including rapid prototyping, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Integrate AI into work processes and user experiences.
• Utilize strong knowledge of UX principles in software design.
• Focus on troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Work in a flexible and remote environment.

Requirements

• Experience in integrating AI into work processes and user experiences.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, HTML, XML, CSS, REST.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong skills in SQL and Prometheus Query Language.
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience on the ServiceNow Platform is a plus.
