Data Center Operations Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Data Center Operations Engineer, you will be a member of the Service Engineering team responsible for global infrastructure design, standards, and architecture.

• Utilize expertise in data center operations to streamline processes including security and asset management.
• Develop and document best practices for data center operations.
• Act as the primary contact for vendors operating in data centers.

• Understand data center facilities, including power and HVAC.
• Experience in managing vendors.
• Strong analytical and communication skills required.
• Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data center or facility operations.
• Experience in installing pre-integrated racks and network appliances.
• Knowledge of networking/server architecture.
• Experience with ITIL process methodologies is a plus.
• CompTIA A+, Server+, or Network+ certification is a plus.
