Senior Software Architect - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Software Architect at SEON, you will lead software engineering projects across our product development organization and shape our technical architecture.

In Short

• Work out the technical scope of cross-team software projects based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with development teams to design robust and performant solutions.
• Analyze performance of existing systems and propose improvements.
• Document design decisions in Architecture Decision Records.
• Review implementation of technical plans.
• Prepare deployment and migration plans.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to push solutions to production.
• Work with Product Management to prioritize and deliver new developments.
• Troubleshoot production issues with the SRE team.
• Manage project implementation and coordinate between teams.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of modern web development technologies (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python).
• Experience with performance measurement of distributed systems.
• Understanding of web services and SaaS applications.
• Expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with multiple database technologies (ClickHouse, Neo4J, Redis, Elasticsearch).
• Experience with modern DevOps tools (Terraform, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, ELK stack).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
