As a Senior Software Architect at SEON, you will lead software engineering projects across our product development organization and shape our technical architecture.

In Short

Work out the technical scope of cross-team software projects based on the business requirements
Collaborate with the development teams to design robust and performant solutions
Analyze the performance of existing systems and work out solutions for improvement
Document design decisions in the form of Architecture Decision Records
Review the implementation of technical plans
Prepare deployment and migration plans
Collaborate with engineering teams to push solutions to production
Work with Product Management to prioritize and deliver new developments
Troubleshoot production issues with the SRE team
Manage project implementation and coordinate between teams

Requirements

Strong working knowledge of modern web development technologies (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python)
Experience with performance measurement and improvement of distributed systems
Strong understanding of web services and SaaS applications
Expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL)
Experience with multiple database technologies (ClickHouse, Neo4J, Redis, Elasticsearch)
Experience with modern DevOps tools (Terraform, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, ELK stack)
Strong organizational skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently and prioritize workload
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
