Overview

The Senior Program Manager (SPM) is responsible for overseeing a team of event managers, event planners, logistics specialists, and other team members to ensure the successful planning and execution of over 7,000 chaplain-led events worldwide in support of the U.S. Army Chief of Chaplains’ Building Strong & Ready Teams (BSRT) / Strong Bonds program.

In Short

  • Lead all contract activities and tasks.
  • Develop plans, policies, and procedures for event lifecycle.
  • Organize and manage team members for project administration.
  • Ensure team members have necessary resources and support.
  • Maintain communication with government customers and stakeholders.
  • Identify and document risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in customer and internal team meetings.
  • Prepare and submit required deliverables and reports.
  • Represent corporate values in all stakeholder interactions.
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality, Events Planning, or related field.
  • 5 years of supervisory experience for teams of 20+ employees.
  • 3 years of managing event planners and logistics specialists.
  • Experience in large-scale federal government events.
  • DOD Secret Level Clearance required.
