Overview

As an Executive General Adjuster at Sedgwick, you will investigate losses or claims for personal, casualty, or property loss while enjoying a flexible and autonomous work environment.

In Short

• Investigate losses or claims internationally.
• Handle complex losses up to designated authority.
• Examine claim forms to determine insurance coverage.
• Interview claimants and witnesses regarding claims.
• Prepare reports of findings and negotiate settlements.
• Attend litigation hearings as necessary.
• Must reside in California and travel as required.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree and IIA-AIC designation.
• Five years of related experience required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• IIA-AIC designation and pursuing another professional designation.
• Five years of related experience or equivalent education.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet performance competencies.
• Adjuster license required.
