Senior Software Engineer - Signals Intelligence - Remote

Overview

Join our elite Signals Intelligence unit within the STRIKE threat intelligence group and turn raw data into game‑changing insights. You’ll design and maintain scalable, high‑throughput systems that relentlessly scan the global digital landscape, fueling SecurityScorecard’s flagship ratings platform and complementary products.

In Short

• Design and develop Python/Go based applications including testing, optimization and scaling.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and data engineers.
• Peer review of design, code and tests.
• Develop distributed application using Confluent Kafka platform.
• Automate deployment of distributed applications with CI/CD.
• Manage the infrastructure of bare metal or cloud (AWS) compute instances.
• Provision and fine-tune Linux based instances.
• Utilize Ansible for configuration management.
• Debug performance and other issues in all environments.
• Maintain SLA for uptime and code deploy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing, building, or supporting high performance distributed systems using Python, Kafka and Bash.
• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and other misc Automation.
• 3-5 years of experience in Linux (shell or other scripting), networking.
• Some experience with cloud and cluster computing.
• Network Security - TCP/IP protocols, vulnerability scanning & port scanning.
