Overview

The Sales Engineer plays a vital hybrid role, providing both direct customer engagement and critical support to Sales Engineers and Senior Sales Engineers at Sectigo, a leading provider of digital identity and cybersecurity solutions.

In Short

  • Support sales teams with technical input and project coordination.
  • Participate in technical demos and presentations.
  • Assist in planning and implementing Proof of Concept (PoC) efforts.
  • Provide first-level technical support during sales engagements.
  • Assist with sales proposals and technical documentation.
  • Collect and communicate customer feedback and product improvement ideas.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers on various projects.
  • Set up and maintain demo environments and lab infrastructure.
  • Document repeatable solutions and support team scalability.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and ongoing learning activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience or 1+ years in a pre-sales technical role.
  • Exposure to scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with web servers, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Understanding of basic networking, SSL/TLS, PKI concepts.
  • Ability to travel more than 25% of the time.
