Overview

The Maintenance Technician: Floater at Saputo is responsible for performing basic maintenance activities on manufacturing process equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal operational conditions of machinery.

• Perform basic maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on plant machinery.

Requirements

• Fundamental knowledge of electrical and mechanical concepts.
• Basic welding skills.
• Knowledge of refrigeration and boilers is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and diagrams.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changes.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work activities.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
