Overview

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for loading and unloading products, ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

In Short

• Perform trailer inspections for inbound and outbound orders.
• Load and unload products using Radio Frequency scanners.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality regulations.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and inventory records.
• Complete daily Powered Industrial Truck Inspections.
• Report potential safety hazards to management.
• Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work in cold environments.
• Participate in training and shift meetings.

Requirements

• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math knowledge.
• Demonstrated work history in a similar role.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the position.
• Good visual acuity and ability to distinguish colors.
• Experience operating material handling equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment.
• Wearing personal protective equipment as required.
• Fine manipulation and hand dexterity skills.
