Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift - Remote

Overview

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and accurate loading and unloading of products within the distribution center, ensuring safety and efficiency in operations.

In Short

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Load and unload products using Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile discrepancies.
• Follow all safety and operational procedures to prevent injuries.
• Train new hires on warehouse functions as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Perform quality checks and adhere to sanitation guidelines.
• Participate in cross-training for various warehouse roles.
• Report any damage or maintenance issues immediately.
• Adhere to attendance and operational standards.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or 1 year of relevant experience required.
• Forklift Certification is required.
• Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
• Basic analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform in a metrics-driven environment.
• Must be able to lift over 50lbs.
• Must have normal vision and hearing capabilities.
