Strategic Finance Lead - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a strategic, forward-thinking finance leader to help shape the financial future of the Scroll Foundation. This is not a traditional finance role. This position will be focused on the high-leverage, out-of-the-box work: long-term financial planning, treasury management, strategic partnership structuring, and ecosystem coordination.

In Short

• Lead long-term treasury and capital management strategy to ensure sustainability and resilience across market cycles
• Drive financial planning and goal-setting for the Foundation and selectively support key partners across the Scroll ecosystem
• Build and maintain transparent financial reporting structures: internal, board-level (monthly/quarterly), and public (annual)
• Oversee budgeting, FP&A, and multi-scenario forecasting with support from two existing finance team members
• Structure and negotiate strategic deals and partnerships that support ecosystem growth and financial health
• Oversee investor relations with major ecosystem actors as token unlocks come up, including investor reporting
• Managing relationships with relevant finance partners, such as market makers, treasury management providers, etc.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in finance, strategic finance, or capital planning roles
• Proven leadership in financial strategy, with 1–3+ years in a senior or executive role
• Strong analytical and deal-structuring skills with the ability to operate autonomously
• Exceptional communication skills across cultures and time zones in a fully remote environment
• Familiarity with blockchain treasury management, DeFi ecosystems, and/or DAOs
• A bias toward action, systems thinking, and long-term vision
