In Short

• Support team in operational role focusing on US import and export shipments.
• Ensure timely fulfillment of customs obligations.
• Classify items accurately for imports and exports.
• Communicate with carriers, customs brokers, and suppliers.
• Perform audits on import and export entries.
• Organize and prioritize work in a dynamic environment.
• Provide top-notch customer service to internal departments.
• Work with management to create and implement policies.
• Monitor customs regulations and identify compliance risks.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• 5+ years in import and export trade operations.
• Knowledge of U.S., Canada, and Mexico import/export regulations.
• Proficient in HTSUS classification.
• Experience in trade compliance areas.
• Familiar with ACE for import/export.
• Strong verbal/written communication skills.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer relationship skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in International Business or related field.
