  • Update patient demographics and insurance information.
  • Monitor claims for missing information and authorization numbers.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience in healthcare insurance billing.
  • Experience identifying billing errors and resubmitting claims.
  • Knowledge of CD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and NCC.
  • Basic working knowledge of health information systems.
  • Ability to navigate Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Demonstrated success in both individual and team environments.
  • Effective communication skills with payers.
  • Ability to meet performance objectives.
