Overview

The Professional Practice Business Partner (PPBP) serves as a critical link between the Medical Staff and local leadership, providing strategic support and guidance for professional practice initiatives within the healthcare system.

• Serve as the business relationship link between regional facility and senior leadership.
• Deliver strategic support and guidance through key Professional Practice initiatives.
• Oversee provider services including credentialing and peer review processes.
• Facilitate communication and updates to regional clinical and operational leadership.
• Lead group sessions and provide assistance to specialty areas.
• Manage development and review of medical staff documents.
• Develop programmatic planning and project coordination for strategic goals.
• Collaborate with Central Verification Services and senior management.
• Analyze information to develop recommendations for Professional Practice.
• Accountable for implementation of Sanford privileging guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
• Five years clinical experience.
• Two years of experience in health care quality and/or administration.
