Overview

As a Samsara Technical Account Manager (TAM), you will build a track record of customer success by leveraging your technical expertise, strong business acumen, clear and effective English communication, and a commitment to living by Samsara's core values and operating principles.

In Short

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and account teams.
  • Develop a technical understanding of customers’ Samsara implementations.
  • Transform technical support experience for customers.
  • Be the primary technical point of contact for significant incidents.
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse customer base.
  • Participate in scaling the Technical Account Management team.
  • Occasional travel to customer sites may be required.
  • Embed Samsara’s cultural principles in your work.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

Requirements

  • Exceptional technical literacy and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to build trusted, long-term relationships with customers.
  • Experience supporting global enterprise-level customers.
  • Basic Python coding skills are an asset.
