In Short

  • Join a team undergoing a full platform transformation from legacy data centers to cloud-based architecture.
  • Play a critical role in the greenfield migration of data infrastructure.
  • Stabilize and redesign existing data flows using technologies like Kafka, Airflow, and SQL.
  • Design and implement scalable, cloud-native data processing workflows.
  • Conduct data validation and quality assurance across critical systems.
  • Collaborate with Product, Dev, and Customer Success teams for data delivery.
  • Contribute to the implementation of GDPR-compliant data architectures.
  • Work in a fully remote environment with flexibility.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in data engineering, especially in cloud migration.
  • Strong skills in Python and SQL; experience with Dremio, Pandas, and Jupyter is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka, Airflow, and Linux shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native platforms like AWS S3, BigQuery, Glue.
  • Understanding of CI/CD tools like GitLab, Ansible, Docker.
  • Detail-oriented and self-driven with strong documentation habits.
  • Working proficiency in German (B2 at least, mandatory).
