Overview

Ruby Labs is seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled UX Researcher to lead research initiatives across product experiences and payment systems.

In Short

• Conduct in-depth research on competing products to evaluate user experience and monetization strategies.
• Reverse-engineer key product flows to identify best practices and innovation opportunities.
• Document and present detailed competitive benchmarks and UX assessments.
• Analyze end-to-end payment journeys, including checkout flows and fraud prevention techniques.
• Identify and evaluate payment providers and pricing strategies used by competitors.
• 2+ years of experience in UX Research or Product Research.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document research findings.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights.
• Experience in fintech, SaaS, or e-commerce environments.
• Familiarity with design tools and research platforms is a plus.
