Sr. Category Manager - Paper Board and Substrates Procurement - Remote

Overview

The Paper Category Manager (CM) is responsible for leading RRD’s strategic focus for paper and related materials, managing the category effectively to achieve business objectives.

In Short

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for assigned categories.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders to align on business priorities.
• Achieve business requirements while capturing value through cost improvements.
• Sustain strategic relationships with key suppliers.
• Evaluate and qualify new suppliers to ensure competitive advantages.
• Conduct sourcing events and negotiations effectively.
• Negotiate supplier agreements with KPIs and SLAs.
• Maintain updated systems with current documentation.
• Travel occasionally to support business needs.
• Additional responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business management or supply chain.
• 10+ years of strategic experience in the folding carton and printing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of folding carton board and substrate applications.
• Project management experience with high volume throughput.
• Ability to build strategic partnerships across teams.
• Strong data analysis and opportunity identification skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Google Suite and MS Office applications.
• Able to travel as needed.
