Quality & Continuous Improvement Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Quality & CI Manager will provide leadership and support for ongoing maintenance and compliance to RR Donnelley Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, regulatory requirements, metrics performance and continual improvement.

In Short

• Provide leadership for compliance to QMS requirements.
• Support quality resolution processes for key strategic clients.
• Conduct assessments to identify quality improvement opportunities.
• Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives such as 6 Sigma and Lean methodologies.
• Develop local teams and support problem-solving processes.
• Establish relationships with strategic suppliers for quality improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in customer audits and facility assessments.
• Manage the customer on-boarding process and New Product Introduction.
• Lead initiatives related to intellectual property protection.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar.
• 5 years experience in Quality & CI areas.
• 5 years experience in packaging companies.
• Knowledge of compliance certifications like ISO9001 and ISO14000.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing & QA tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Minitab.
• Willingness to travel 40%-50% of the time.
