Overview

The Quality Improvement Specialist has a broad range of responsibilities that support the Corporate Compliance Quality Improvement program, focusing on providing vital data needed to promote the ongoing success of the quality improvement platform.

In Short

  • Supports and carries out the vision of the department and performs compliance activities.
  • Makes outbound calls to test call performance and knowledge.
  • Acts as a customer to inquire about products and services.
  • Develops reports to identify trends and process improvement opportunities.
  • Conducts call scoring for referral management/customer service performance.
  • Engages in patient satisfaction/customer survey activities.
  • Interacts online with patients/clients.
  • Monitors social media for patient/referral feedback.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Completes compliance training and other educational programs as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of work-related experience in healthcare administrative or customer services.
  • Senior level requires two years of experience and one year of exact job experience.
  • Experience in a Medicare certified environment is preferred.
