Manager of Water and Wastewater Infrastructure - Remote

Overview

Rowan Digital Infrastructure is looking for a Manager of Water and Wastewater Infrastructure to spearhead wet utility infrastructure development across Rowan’s data center portfolio, executing water and wastewater sustainability initiatives consistent with corporate goals.

In Short

• Lead the development of water and wastewater infrastructure for data centers.
• Collaborate with project teams for strategy and supply agreements.
• Monitor external factors affecting water policy and quality.
• Manage relationships with local water authorities.
• Prepare for commercial negotiations for water rights.
• Ensure compliance with water withdrawal agreements.
• Evaluate water monitoring data against agreements.
• Implement water stewardship programs.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Travel up to 25% for gatherings or project sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering or similar.
• 7+ years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Technical expertise in industrial water use and permitting.
• Experience with data center water infrastructure preferred.
• Knowledge of NPDES permits and wastewater systems.
• Experience with utilities in the U.S.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
