The Automation Controls, Customer Support professional is a vital member of the customer support team at Rockwell Automation, providing on-site support and troubleshooting for various automation technologies.

In Short

• Provide on-site support and troubleshooting for Rockwell Automation technologies.
• Assist with control system health maintenance, including firmware updates and backups.
• Support project execution involving PLC, HMI, and VFD migrations.
• Manage repair transactions and ensure turnaround times are met.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customer partners.
• Gather and analyze product data from customer ERP systems.
• Create program metric reports using RA software.
• Communicate effectively between customers and internal teams.
• Maintain customer automation installed base data.
• Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and commercial skills.
• Basic knowledge of logistics, purchasing, and order management.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, SAP, and Power BI.
• Ability to assess and escalate support requests based on severity.
• Experience in creating and leading presentations.
• Strong communication skills.
