• Ensure compliance with accurate and timely payroll tax reporting.
• Analyze payroll tax irregularities and find solutions.
• Establish tax requirements for fringe benefits and deductions.
• Conduct research on tax laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on tax matters.
• Reconcile payroll tax returns and address discrepancies.
• Manage relationships with payroll vendors.
• Lead year-end tax processes and audits.
• Respond to service tickets related to payroll tax issues.
• Stay updated on payroll tax changes through training.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of tax laws and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with tax software and financial data.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proven organizational skills and time management.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• 10+ years of experience in payroll and tax processing.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
• Experience with ADP and Workday preferred.
