Manager - Legal - Remote

Overview

Riveron is searching for a Manager - Legal to help lead its compliance function and serve as a valued business partner to its client engagement leadership, Human Resources and Talent Acquisition teams and other key internal clients. The Counsel will work closely with the Chief Legal Officer, Deputy General Counsel and Counsel, Corporate and Compliance in establishing company policies, setting legal and compliance standards, developing or refining templates for key agreements, and providing timely and practical advice in a wide range of areas.

In Short

• Draft, review and negotiate client engagement letters and professional services agreements.
• Manage litigation claims and reporting.
• Provide legal advice and support on employment law matters.
• Draft new hire offer letters and employment agreements.
• Work with the Chief Legal Officer to meet legal support needs.
• Manage international vendor compliance policies and procedures.
• Assist Finance team with client payment communications.
• Minimal travel requirements expected.
• Collaborate with internal teams for legal support.
• Foster a client-centric approach to legal services.

Requirements

• Juris doctor degree.
• Valid India bar admission with 6+ years of legal experience.
• In-house or law firm legal experience preferred.
• Experience in consulting or technology services highly preferred.
• Strong legal and business judgment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
