DevSecOps Cloud Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a skilled DevSecOps Cloud Engineer to support the modernization of the Patent Trial and Appeal Case Tracking System (P-TACTS) for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). This role plays a critical part in our ongoing efforts to transition the system from an on-premise environment to a secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.

In Short

• Design, implement, and maintain reproducible cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines, runners, and executors.
• Lead the integration and migration of on-premise infrastructure to AWS.
• Streamline software development and deployment lifecycles.
• Build and manage Docker containers.
• Configure AWS auto-scaling policies and monitor performance metrics.
• Partner with developers and security engineers to implement DevSecOps principles.
• Develop and maintain documentation on IaC and CI/CD workflows.

Requirements

• Hands-on expertise in managing GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding of Terraform for IaC.
• Strong working knowledge of AWS services.
• Familiarity with secure software development lifecycles.
• Proficiency in Docker image creation and lifecycle management.
• Experience with Git and collaboration tools.
• Ability to monitor infrastructure and optimize for performance.
