DevSecOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

The DevSecOps Engineer is a key member of the Security & Reliability Operations team at Authentic8, responsible for ensuring service availability, security, and compliance through proactive monitoring and incident response.

In Short

• Monitor and respond to incidents in a real-time operations center.
• Perform vulnerability scanning and security assessments.
• Manage technical operations including patching and deployments.
• Develop and enhance automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in project tasks and sprint planning.
• Serve on-call for incident resolution outside business hours.
• Create and maintain documentation for compliance and operations.
• US Citizenship is required for this position.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years experience in DevSecOps, SRE, or security engineering.
• Proficiency in Linux, GitLab, CI/CD, and scripting languages.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident management platforms.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and hardening standards.
• Strong communication skills for technical documentation.
