Senior Network Engineer - Remote

Overview

RIVA Solutions is seeking a Senior Network Engineering specialist to provide technical engineering and operations support to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) under the NEITS program.

In Short

• Provide project support for network infrastructure implementation projects.
• Assist in network redesigns and implementation of technologies.
• Track and manage program milestones and deliverables.
• Provide technical input on Requests for Quotes (RFQs).
• Support Tier 2/Tier 3 trouble ticket resolution.
• Coordinate internal meetings with technical and program stakeholders.
• Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Support business operations with financial oversight.
• Work with minimal supervision in a technical engineering team.
• Knowledge of NOAA NESDIS mission and N-Wave program is preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of network engineering experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of telecommunications and network engineering.
• Experience in federal or enterprise IT environments.
