Endpoint Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Endpoint Security Engineer will support the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in safeguarding the integrity and performance of cybersecurity efforts across endpoint and network infrastructures.

In Short

• Engineer security solutions for endpoint hardware and software.
• Analyze and refresh government-furnished security systems.
• Conduct reviews of network configurations and firewall rules.
• Safeguard Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
• Ensure SIEM log forwarding and support audit requirements.
• Track and assess CVE/KEV threats from CISA.
• Deliver technical and executive reports on vulnerabilities.
• Support a variety of endpoint devices.
• Design endpoint engineering plans and compliance tests.
• Collaborate with teams to respond to incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in IT security engineering.
• Familiarity with federal IT security frameworks.
• Experience in endpoint security design and vulnerability tracking.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
