DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

Your role within the Cloud Applications team will involve developing essential internal tools, maintaining and improving CI/CD platform, developing and maintaining umbrella helm charts, and introducing new technologies and innovative ideas.

In Short

• You will be responsible for the management and optimization of the CI/CD process in the organization, ensuring seamless delivery
• Manage high-scale cloud infrastructure and services, optimizing for performance, stability, cost, and reliability
• Mentor, inspire DevOps and Dev engineers, ensuring high performance and collaboration
• Collaborate across teams to align DevOps and Dev activities with business objectives
• Build and implement internal tools and automations with Golang and Python

Requirements

• 5+ years as a DevOps or another technological engineer
• Experience with K8S - Must
• Experience with various CI/CD tools - Must (CircleCI, ArgoCD - advantage)
• Experience with git version control and understanding of different codebase management strategies (monorepo vs multi-repos)
• Experience with Helm - Must
• Vast experience with running a large-scale operation on AWS
• Experience with Terraform or similar IAAS tools - advantage
• Experience with Istio service mesh - advantage
• High analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g. Golang, Bash, Python)
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools
• Experience with critical production environments with high throughput
