Credit Manager - Remote

Overview

The Credit Manager is responsible for the collection and analysis of credit information and financial data to extend trade lines on credit while ensuring payments are collected and working with sales managers on troubled accounts.

• Collect and analyze credit information and financial data.
• Ensure payments are collected within terms of sale.
• Achieve monthly cash collection goals.
• Initiate monthly accounts receivable meetings.
• Review area results with the Regional Credit Manager.
• Meet with customers to enhance relations.
• Perform periodic reconciliation of customer accounts.

• Maintain technical proficiency in relevant software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High School or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proven track record in credit and collections.
• Ability to analyze financial reports.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Efficient time management and organizational skills.
• Technical proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of Mechanic’s liens and bond regulations.
• Experience with Get Paid collection software is a plus.
• Analytical skills to identify trends.
