Credit Manager - Remote

Overview

The Credit Manager is responsible for the collection and analysis of credit information and financial data in accordance with credit policy and applicable laws to extend trade lines on credit, ensuring payments are collected and working with Area Sales Managers to review troubled accounts.

In Short

• Collect and analyze credit information and financial data
• Ensure payments are collected within terms of sale
• Achieve monthly cash collection goals
• Initiate and moderate monthly accounts receivable meetings
• Review area results with the Regional Credit Manager
• Meet with customers and sales associates for customer service
• Periodic reconciliation of customer accounts
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School or GED required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Proven track record in trade accounts receivable, credit and collections
• Ability to demonstrate sound judgment in decision making
• Understand and analyze financial reports
• Commitment to adhere to credit policy
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Efficient time management and organizational skills
• Technical proficiency in Excel and Word
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge in Mechanic’s liens and bond regulations
