Senior Project Developer - Remote

In Short

• Oversee the entire development phase of multiple BESS projects, grid connection, permitting and stakeholder engagement.
• Ensure the timely application for and granting of all necessary permits for the project.
• Coordinate the securing of grid connections with grid operators.
• Lead and/or coordinate preliminary engineering for the project layout and cable route design (with external advisors).
• Build local support among inhabitants and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project progression.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Procurement, Origination, and Financing) to ensure seamless handover to the next phase.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of working experience, with at least 4 years in a relevant project development/management role in (renewable) energy, infrastructure, real estate or other utility-scale projects in the energy sector.
• Strong experience in project permitting, grid connection and cable routing in energy or infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record in successful project development.
• Ability to engage with and manage relationships with external advisors and other stakeholders.
• Proven track record managing complex projects from conception to execution.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English. Willingness to travel (once every 2 weeks for a few days).
