As the Head of Project Development, you will lead the strategic and operational development of large battery storage projects in Germany, contributing significantly to the energy transition.

• Lead the project development for large battery storage projects in Germany.
• Coordinate the entire development process including permitting and grid connection.
• Collaborate closely with management for strategic support and reporting.
• Build and maintain relationships with authorities, grid operators, and stakeholders.
• Identify and implement measures to enhance efficiency in project development.
• Lead and develop a team of project developers.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Act as a liaison with internal departments such as Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Sales.
• Conduct market analysis and identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Geography, Environmental Sciences, or related field.
• Several years of experience in project development, ideally in renewable energy or energy storage.
• In-depth knowledge of permitting processes and energy law.
• Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset and strategic competence.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel within Germany and Europe.
