Overview

ResMed is seeking a dynamic Privacy & Product Counsel to support its mission of improving patient and customer quality of life through legal counsel in product development and privacy management.

• Provide legal support for product initiatives focusing on privacy and compliance.
• Work with product teams to apply privacy-by-design principles.
• Manage legal risks associated with digital health solutions.
• Draft and review privacy-related legal documents.

• Stay updated on regulatory trends affecting digital health.
• Collaborate with legal and privacy teams on cross-functional issues.
• Mitigate risks while enabling innovation in product development.
• Support the global privacy program through assessments and documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of legal experience in privacy or product counsel roles.
• Experience in SaaS or digital health technology preferred.
• Juris doctorate (J.D.) and good standing in a state bar.
• Privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP) are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and privacy laws.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Customer service focus with analytical skills.
• Ability to balance business needs with legal risks.
